Our talented team works hard to offer you a pleasant, all-around dinning experience . Set in a quiet neighborhood overlooking the ocean, the restaurant greets you with a wide bar for cocktails and an interior garden protected by a great olive tree and aromatic herbs.
OUR HISTORY
Since the year 2000, O’Farrell Restaurant is a symbol of quality and excellence in Argentine cuisine. Hubert & Pamela opened their first restaurant in San Isidro, Buenos Aires that showed one of the first open-kitchens in the country. One of the pillars of their cuisine is working with seasonal and quality produce to create original dishes with complex flavors. O'Farrell was one of the first to offer tasting menus paired with wines form their carefully crafted wine list, which had more than 20 wine options by the glass.
Captivated by the summer season in Punta del Este, in 2004 they decide to open a sister restaurant in Manantiales, maintaining the same philosophy, but a bit more casual. They discover the bounties the region has to offer and decide to work with local farmers and suppliers who could offer noble, organic and sustainable produce. After some time they decide to close the restaurant in Buenos Aires and relocate permanently in Uruguay with their family.

Throughout our wine list you will find a wide variety of labels from the most important wine regions of the world, kept in a temperature controled cellar. We offer more than 20 wines by the glass which allows us to make interesting pairings on our tasting menus.
CATERING/DINNER PARTIES
We take pride in offering a personalized, all around service that cares for every detail so that the host can relax and feel like one more guest.
We offer different options and menus that can adapt to each individual need. We can cater small and larger venues, from 20 up to 500 guests in Punta del Este and Jose Ignacio, but also in Montevideo and Buenos Aires. You will find interesting options for Christmas and New Year’s Eve dinners and parties.
